Translation: Let us (RWR) control the Washoe County Republican Party (WCRCC) OR we will burn it to the ground.
Well after listening to the interview of Cindy Martinez and Sandra Linares (with a few comments from Ray Rocha), THINGS ARE STARTING TO MAKE SENSE. I was notified and encouraged to listen to this radio broadcast by email from Republican Women of Reno (RWR).

Cindy and Sandra wanted to “set the record straight” about their split from the Washoe County Republican Executive Board of the WCRCC. Cindy resigned months ago, Sandra a week ago, along with Melissa Clement and Carole Fineberg, ALL members of Republican Women of Reno.
They FEEL the focus of the WCRCC is ONLY on Election Integrity (ie. Robert Beadles) and more important issues about immigration, economy and education are being ignored. To Cindy and Sandra it is MORE important to get Republicans elected than to work on blatant election fraud. They FEEL the Washoe County Republican Party is not helping Republican candidates. Who knows how they FEEL about the other 3 issues. I was not aware either one of them contributing anything in those areas.
They say the WCRCC is becoming FAR Right and ignoring moderate Republicans and Independents. And most important the FAR Right is NOT “nice.” (code for doesn’t agree with Cindy or Sandra).
I say BS. Absolutely not my experience. I am a moderate Republican and do not feel ignored. I am active in my precinct and have had a lot of support from the party office for our door to door candidate walks to yard signs and handouts. At every Central Committee meeting any candidate that shows up is given time ample time to address the group. I could see the WCRCC was not only working on election integrity BUT also promoting and supporting all Republican candidates.
I am also a member of RWR and have watched the disturbing transformation of a group of civic minded women focused on political education and information to an almost fanatical group under the leadership of Nicol Herris. It’s her way or the highway.
At a time that was critical for the Primary, RWR pulled away from WCRCC and just did their own thing. I couldn’t understand why we weren’t all joining forces. Why weren’t the RWR helping with calls, voter registration, walks etc? Why weren’t we ALL working to turn Washoe Red?
Not in charge Nicol?
To Cindy and Sandra; so WCRCC is no longer a good fit. You are having philosophical differences. You have decided to support RWR. Your choice.
But instead, you CHOOSE to go on an internet broadcast public radio show and air dirty laundry? And Republican Women of Reno club encourages its members to listen in? Who are you?
I now think the RWR is on a major manipulation campaign, sending these 2 out to discredit the Washoe County Republican party and make themselves look virtuous AND, repeatedly suggesting listeners join RWR. “There are alternatives outside the Washoe County Republican Party.” Well, I for one, think it backfired. Cindy said it herself with her parting Marine quote. Unfortunately they are starting to torch their own g*ddamn huts.
