FACTS NOT FEELINGS: The Washoe GOP Chairman 2024 Andriola Resolution

Spread the Liberty

Dear Chairman Bruce Parks,

In recent times, a notable division has emerged within the Republican ranks, centered around Clara Andriola. It appears that much of this discord can be attributed to the Andriola Resolution that was drafted. While Clara Andriola bears some responsibility for the necessity of this resolution, a significant portion of our party members believes that your role as the GOP Chair has contributed to the confusion and delay surrounding it.

This letter aims to address concerns that have been circulating on various social media platforms, particularly those associated with Washoe Republicans. The need for clarification is undeniable, as our fellow Republicans are seeking a clear understanding of the situation.

One prominent speculation revolves around your potential endorsement of Clara Andriola for the position of County Commissioner in the upcoming 2024 election. The reported secrecy surrounding your attendance at Andriola’s campaign fundraiser at Sparks Water Bar has raised eyebrows. This has led some to infer that your endorsement, contrary to the GOP requirement of no endorsement until after the 2024 Primary, might be influencing the delayed or withheld action on the Drafted Andriola Resolution.

The question that arises is whether the Washoe GOP Central Committee’s passage of the drafted Andriola Resolution would signify the formal disassociation of ‘Appointed’ County Commissioner Clara Andriola from the Republican Party. This inquiry, as posed by Picon Press, hinges on the implications of this resolution on her party affiliation. Furthermore, one wonders if Governor Joe Lombardo is privy to the details of this resolution and if any pressure has been exerted from his office to suppress it.

The decision by you, the Chair, not to allow the drafted Resolution to be presented for discussion and voting during the July 31st meeting has garnered attention. By denying the GOP committee members the opportunity to voice their opinions and vote on this matter, concerns are emerging regarding potential censorship or outright banning of this document. This, in turn, infringes upon the fundamental rights of Freedom of Speech and the Right to Information, cornerstones of a Constitutional Republic.

The voters in District 4, who are familiar with Clara Andriola’s County Commission voting patterns, view her as leaning towards a more liberal leftist Democrat stance. This perception arises from her tendency to seek “clarification” as a rationale for aligning her votes with the two left-leaning Democrats, Hill and Garcia, rather than siding with the Conservative Republicans, Mike Clark and Jeanne Herman.

In the interest of clarity and democratic principles, it is imperative that a member of the Washoe County Republican Central Committee (WCRCC) introduce the Andriola Resolution during the August meeting. All committee members deserve the opportunity to engage in meaningful debate and cast their votes. Simultaneously, all Republicans in the county should have access to the draft Andriola resolution. This is particularly relevant for those residing in District 4, who will have a say in choosing between Tom Green and Clara Andriola in the 2024 Primary.

Allegations have emerged suggesting that you manipulated the proceedings of the July 31st Central Committee meeting to prevent the introduction of the Resolution. Such maneuvers, characterized as playing a delaying game, have ignited concerns. The Central Committee members expect transparency and the chance to deliberate and vote on the Resolution, as many Republicans are displeased with Commissioner Andriola’s Democrat voting alignment, especially since she is the swing vote on the Commission.

Clara Andriola’s pivotal role as the Swing Vote on the County Commission has garnered attention due to her endorsement of the out-of-state The Elections Group,” aligning with the leftist Democrats, Hill and Garcia. This starkly contrasts with the stance of Conservative Republicans, Mike Clark and Jeanne Herman. Consequently, the perceived chaos in the upcoming 2024 elections is all Clara’s fault, and the other matters of Election Integrity can be partially attributed to this dynamic.

The draft Resolution retains its relevance, and all Washoe Republicans have the right to review and contemplate its contents. Claims circulating on social media that the draft Andriola Resolution might not be permitted for presentation based on procedural grounds have ignited further inquiries. Washoe Republicans and Independents are seeking explanations for this decision, and whether it’s grounded in valid reasons or not.

Irrespective of the outcome, the draft GOP Andriola Resolution remains a valid point of consideration for Republican voters. After all, it was drafted by the GOP Resolution Chair who is eager for it to be presented to the GOP WCRCC members, discussed, and voted on. It offers a critical perspective as the race intensifies between the conservative Tom Green and the Democrat-leaning Clara Andriola.

In conclusion, the ongoing discussions surrounding the Clara Andriola situation require a meticulous and transparent approach. The Republican Party’s integrity and commitment to democratic values demand that all members are informed, engaged, and provided with the opportunity to vote their opinions. As Chair, the responsibility to navigate this situation judiciously rests upon your shoulders.
