As you are aware, the upcoming vote for the Washoe County Board of Commissioners Chairperson is of paramount importance to our community, and I believe that the individual who assumes this role should be someone with a proven track record of dedication, leadership, and service.
It is with this conviction that I am reaching out to you to request your valuable support for my candidacy as Chairperson. Having had the honor of serving the residents of Washoe County for the past 9 years as the Commissioner for District 5, I have worked tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of our constituents. Throughout this time, I have been committed to fostering positive change, promoting community engagement, and ensuring that the voices of our residents are heard and respected.
I take great pride in the accomplishments we have achieved together during my tenure on the Board. The collaborative efforts of our fellow commissioners have resulted in tangible improvements in the lives of our constituents, and I am grateful to have been a part of this journey. However, as we approach the crucial vote on January 16, 2024, I believe that it is time for a new chapter in the leadership of the Washoe County Board of Commissioners.
I am excited about the prospect of assuming the role of Chairperson and bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table. My experience, combined with my unwavering commitment to the betterment of Washoe County, positions me as a strong candidate for this important position.
